Salvation is the greatest gift. It is one of the most wonderful gifts offered by a holy God to mankind. God is offering eternal life to all who accept this great gift. Salvation is a spiritual gift that lasts for eternity. It is a gift that never stops giving. By grace, God is freely forgiving your sins; past, present, and future. This offer is to all who believe in Jesus Christ.
—Romans 1:16 NKJV “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”
God is doing all the Saving
By the power of God and His grace we are being saved. It is not by are doings or strength but solely by God’s. Men may try to deceive themselves that they are worthy or can earn God’s favor but that is folly. Only God can offer salvation as we have absolutely nothing we can contribute.
—Romans 3:23 NKJV “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
The Good News of Salvation
Salvation is the greatest gift we can ever receive and sharing its message is the most important thing we can do. For a sinner, who is hopelessly ensnared by sin, what a privilege it is to hear the good news that Jesus Christ has come to deliver them from their sin and the punishment of death it brings.
This life saving message is the most wonderful news. The believer through Christ has been saved from the guilt and penalty of sin. Not only does Christ save us from sin but He also frees us from the power of sin.
Christ has provided redemption and forgiveness to the sinner by shedding His blood on the cross. What is truly amazing about this good news is that God was offering salvation to sinners, even though we were in open rebellion with Him. In an ultimate act of love through the death of His Son, we are being reconciled to God and through His resurrection being offered eternal life.
—Romans 5:10 NKJV “For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”
By His blood we have been given life. Christ died for sinners and the salvation being offered is for all those who believe in Christ for their salvation. We did nothing to deserve the mercy of God but in grace and love God reached out to us in order to restore our relationship with Him.
—Ephesians 1:7 NKJV “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace”
You Belong to God
Once you accept the accomplishments of Christ on the cross and place your faith in God for your salvation, God sets you apart as belonging to Him. Instead of being far off, God brings you near. This is the start of many blessings to come. For once we belong to God, we are his for eternity and nothing can separate us from the love of God.
—Romans 8:38–39 NKJV “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
As believers we are now part of God’s family and have been giving all the privileges of a family member. We have a heavenly eternal future where we will share in the glory of Christ.
—Romans 8:17 NKJV “and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.”
We are spiritually rich beyond measure and have been promised every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. What a rich inheritance God has bestowed upon us.
—Ephesians 1:3 NKJV “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,”

He wants to make you part of His family and is offering you eternal life. This is God’s good news for the lost sinner.
Christ was sent into this world for the sole purpose of saving sinners. He died for our sins, was buried and rose again.I hope you will take God up on His offer of salvation and trust in Christ today.
—1 Corinthians 15:3–4 NKJV “For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,”
—Ephesians 2:8–9 NKJV “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Salvation is the greatest gift and it is for you. I hope you will receive this wonderful gift. Simply believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.
—Acts 16:31 NKJV “So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved…”
