How do we know God loves us? We know this because Christ obediently went to the cross because he desires all men to be saved. This is the ultimate demonstration of love.
1 tim 2:4-6 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,
Our salvation is based on the foundation of God’s love. God demonstrated His love for us by sending His son to die on the cross for our sins.
Rom. 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Christ loves us and suffered on the cross so that we may have eternal life. Christ is our source of life.
Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
2 cor 5:14-15 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
God Loves Sinners
Christ loves the world; Christ loves sinners. Christ did not come to earth to die for the righteous but for sinners. Christ is shinning His love upon us.
Have you responded to His love? Christ wants to give you the gift of everlasting life but he can’t if you reject His offer of love. Please consider Christ’s love offering and accept Him as your savior.
The time is now to accept God’s great offer of love. Do not be foolish.
Romans 1:20-22 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools,
Consequences of Rejecting God’s love
Christ died for you sins; paid the penalty for your sins in full but if you reject Christ as your savior than the debt of your sins rests fully on your shoulders and you will face the wrath of God.
The consequences of our sin nature is death and condemnation. Do not be foolish and reject God. By being stubborn and resisting His love you will suffer the wrath of God.
Rom. 2:5 But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,
God’s Plan for Sin
God has devised a perfect plan to ultimately deal with sin. Instead of receiving the death we rightly deserve, through his mercy and love God is showering us with the gift of everlasting life.
John 3:15-17 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Again if you have not yet trusted in Him, now is the time to accept Christ as your personal savior. God is pouring His love out; won’t you respond to it and enjoy eternal life.
