Blessing in Christ: Rich Beyond Measure

by admingp

Gold, blessing in Christ: rich beyond measureGod not only blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ but he had planned this even before the beginning of time.

Ephesains. 1:3-6 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

What a wonderful feeling to know that God has held nothing back. In love before the foundation of the world God had a wonderful plan for our lives. Knowing this misery and hopelessness can have no claim on those in Christ because we are blessed beyond measure.

EVERY Spiritual Blessing in Christ is Ours

Everyone who is in Christ is wealthy; not in a materialistic way but in a far better way. There are no poor in Christ because not one spiritual blessing will be withheld from us. We are destined for heaven. Our blessing are not material temporal blessings but heavenly eternal blessing

Ephesians. 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

Our Rich Inheritance

These blessings come directly from God the Father. As believers we belong to Christ and our co-heirs with Christ.

Romans 8:16-17 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

By our relationship with Christ, naturally we are related to the Father. We did not earn these these spiritual blessings or even have the power  to earn them. They were bestowed on us once we placed our faith in Christ.

These blessing are founded in the redemptive work that brought dead sinners into a living relationship with God. It is through this relationship we are blessed.

There is a rich inheritance awaiting all that trust in the redemptive work of Christ on the cross. Don’t delay; place your faith in Christ now for your salvation and experience a wonderful living relationship with Christ. There is no better blessing than this.

What is the hope of the cross?

I know Christ died my death on the cross so that I may have eternal life. But in everyday life what does that mean to a believer. It certainly does not take the bumps out of the road of life.

The truth about Christ's painful death on the cross is that Christ did not come to remove our human sufferings but to show us a way through it to all of the heavenly blessings beyond.

Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,.

He has given us the strength to survive our tribulations until we are called home. His death on the cross is our guarantee!

That is the hope of the cross.
