In this article we look at the question posed in Romans 8:34 Who is he who condemns?
The very next sentence in the verse gives us the answer; “It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.”
This is significant. It is Christ who will be the judge. and as we just learned Christ died to save those he brought near. That means those who he saved which have been justified through His blood are safe from condemnation. We are secure in Christ.
It was Christ who was condemned in our behalf, paying for our sins on the cross. Our penalty has been paid in full by Christ leaving us free from condemnation. Nobody has the power to condemn us.
As a believer, if anybody tries to make you believe your salvation can be taken away remember we have a strong advocate in Christ. The final part of verse 34 lets us know Christ is constantly making intercession for us. So, if anyone tries to lay a charge against you, remember Christ is at the right hand of God, interceding for us making it impossible for anyone to lay a charge against us.
